Giving Thanks, Day 6

I am thankful for the forgiveness I have through faith in Jesus. I am also thankful for the command to forgive others. Sometimes I am not as quick to forgive as God would have me be, and of course it hurts me more than whoever I'm mad at. Then I am thankful that God forgives me for that, and guides me into the forgiveness he tells his children to give to others.

About my Blog Title

When I first became a Christian, I was so into my own and group Bible study, that I couldn't understand why some people didn't take advantage of this blessing. Over time, I've found that I go through spells of being "too busy" to find time for my Bible reading. My love for God never goes away, but sometimes I neglect to give him praise in my daily living.

After I discovered the world of garden blogging, I started spending more and more time on the computer. I actually woke up at 3:00 one morning with the idea of starting a Christian blog, and I knew what the name would be right away. As a gardener I loved the reference to plants. I also knew that I wanted to keep my connection with God through reading what others are learning from the Word, and sharing of verses God uses in my life.
