Word-Filled Wednesday

Proverbs 16:1

"To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the reply of the tongue."

I tried to find a verse that went with this pic, but none seemed to fit. This verse sort of does. We make plans, and "walk" in them, but the Lord guides us on our way. Please click on the icon in my sidebar for more WWFs.

About my Blog Title

When I first became a Christian, I was so into my own and group Bible study, that I couldn't understand why some people didn't take advantage of this blessing. Over time, I've found that I go through spells of being "too busy" to find time for my Bible reading. My love for God never goes away, but sometimes I neglect to give him praise in my daily living.

After I discovered the world of garden blogging, I started spending more and more time on the computer. I actually woke up at 3:00 one morning with the idea of starting a Christian blog, and I knew what the name would be right away. As a gardener I loved the reference to plants. I also knew that I wanted to keep my connection with God through reading what others are learning from the Word, and sharing of verses God uses in my life.
