We had a family gathering at a local lake Saturday. Most of the photos I took from the car had reflections of the inside of the vehicle. A few turned out OK.
Sunset photos are rarely as beautiful as witnessing them in person. Such is the case here. I thoroughly enjoyed the sunset at the lake, and the reflections in the water. What I didn't enjoy was all the smoke, and we had to leave shortly after these photos were taken. I was a Campfire Girl, and have always loved campfires, but my lungs hurt to breath smoke and other odors.
Have a great weekend, and click on the link in my sidebar to see more skies from around the world.
Lovely series of photos. The scenery is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHiya Sue,
ReplyDeleteWell, what a total change of scene!
I had to make sure it was you :-)
Terrific pictures. I love the second one best. Reminds me of a certain painting by Van Gogh.
I too am bothered by smoke. Now is a bad time with leaf burning everywhere.

Looks like a lovely place. The second photo is my favorite. It really does look like a painting!
ReplyDeleteYour reflection photos are very scenic. Sunsets look even more beautiful when reflected on the water.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful transition of shots from the prairie to the lake. Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteSomehow, I just NOW discovered THIS blog (have always enjoyed the "Corner"...).
ReplyDeleteLike you, I have trouble "capturing" the sunset. Even the BEST photography fails to convey the "living" part of it...
Beautifuls frames with a divine light
