Pam, at Grey Like Snuffie is on "M" this week. Go read her entry, and see who else is participating, and join in, if you'd like to!
I've chosen Titus 3:3-6:
"At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,..."
I started to just do through verse 5, but liked how the sentence continued to verse 6, then saw that verse 7 is part of the same sentence. Hey, it's all good, but I decided to stop here.
I have a sense that He extends much more mercy towards us than we realize. Beautiful picture. Hope all is going well for you Sue...blessings of His best to you!
ReplyDeleteIt is all good, so very good. Thank you for sharing this verse. What caught my attention is how so very different these two "m" words are...malice...mercy..thank God for the cross.

Malice vs mercy! Thanks for highlighting the contrast, Sue. Happy Mothers Day!
