Photos Taken from the Gas Station

A couple weeks ago, when I got gas, I noticed how beautiful the sky was, and got out my cell phone camera to take a few photos for SkyWatch Friday.  To see skies from all over the world, click on the link in my sidebar.

The bridge is part of a busy north/south street I use a lot.

Wednesday's Sky Before the Rain

Heidi and I went out for a yard walk as the clouds were getting darker.  There was some thunder and lightning while we were out.  There were lots of birds flying around.

I always enjoy taking photos of the sky through flowering plants.  This clematis blooms both early and late summer.

I hope this plane made it to where it was going before the rain came.  It was a good downpour.

There was still a little blue peeking through in the north.

I took some videos trying to get the sound of the thunder, but when I tried putting one in the post, it failed, with a message that that kind of file can't be put in.
