Skies from Father's Day

In my Corner Garden blog, I posted some photos of the garden tour where people garden with wildlife in mind.  I want to post some photos from the tour that include the sky.  I had gotten a late start due to a thunderstorm.  It continued to rain off and on throughout the day.  It felt like the clouds and sun were having a bit of a battle.

This is how the skies looked a couple hours before I left.

These photos were taken from an acreage on the edge of our city.

As I was driving to my parents, another thunderstorm with huge lightening arrived in the area.  To see skies from all over the world, or find out how to post yours, click on the SkyWatch button in the sidebar.

  9. I love the American way of shared front gardens and plantings on the nature strip. It makes walking in the suburbs so much more pleasurable. Love the last shot of the sky and foreground of course.
