Giving Thanks, Days 16 and 17

I missed yesterday. I have been reading a bunch of Carol's at May Dreams Garden's Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day blogs, and not keeping up with answering my own comments or writing about what I'm thankful for.

I am up past my bedtime again! I am thankful God is giving me strength for each day, even though I'm not making myself go to bed on time.

I am also thankful for warm clothes and blankets on cold fall and winter days.

I so appreciate you serious gardener types--I wish I wasn't so lazy. We have a HUGE lot and we put in 2 LARGE garden spaces, that wind all over creation and 6 smaller ones. Great idea but I am too lazy. This last spring I did have one glorious garden area that was on the least seen side of the house. Our neighbors garage got to enjoy it. Hope you have a glorious day.

About my Blog Title

When I first became a Christian, I was so into my own and group Bible study, that I couldn't understand why some people didn't take advantage of this blessing. Over time, I've found that I go through spells of being "too busy" to find time for my Bible reading. My love for God never goes away, but sometimes I neglect to give him praise in my daily living.

After I discovered the world of garden blogging, I started spending more and more time on the computer. I actually woke up at 3:00 one morning with the idea of starting a Christian blog, and I knew what the name would be right away. As a gardener I loved the reference to plants. I also knew that I wanted to keep my connection with God through reading what others are learning from the Word, and sharing of verses God uses in my life.
